Welcome to the Society of Northumbrian Scribes, which was created to promote calligraphy, to help its members to enjoy it and to develop their own skills.

We welcome all who are interested in calligraphy to our monthly meetings. These are mostly workshop events which are designed to help all individual’s to enjoy and develop their calligraphy in an environment which is informal, encouraging and creative.
