Some of our members lead leisure classes under the auspices of WEA and local Community Education organisations in the North East.

The availability of classes depends on the funding bodies who respond to local demand. Whenever practicable, we are keen to see the establishing of new classes and this may be possible in your area.

Activities for Young Calligraphers are run once a term at Bede's World. Our diary page has the dates. These activities run from 10.15 for two hours and cost £1. If you are eight years old or over, please get permission to send your name to the Curator, Bede's World, Church Bank, Jarrow. NE32 3DY to ask to join in.

Some of our Young Calligraphers' team are pleased to be invited into school to work with teachers who seek to involve students in different aspects of calligraphy.
