Northumbrian Scribes present their calligraphy at many venues in the North East. Our principal exhibition is held in the summer at Bede's World in Jarrow where scribes present their new work. Themes are widely interpreted and scribes work in a range of media. Whilst most work is framed some small three dimensional items are also exhibited.

Many exhibits are for sale and others have prompted viewers to commission individual pieces which have special significance for them.

To mark the opening and closing of the summer exhibition at Bede's World, members of Northumbrian Scribes attend to demonstrate and discuss our activities and calligraphic interests.

Our touring exhibitions display the wide range of interests and media used by our scribes.

Our exhibitions generate comment, interest and appreciation. We are continually developing our exhibition programme and welcome enquiries from prospective host venues.
